The CRI’s RAT (Rapid Action Team) called a flash protest against the Trump Administration’s illegal actions in Venezuela. We gathered peacefully (but noisily) at the intersection of Haddon Avenue and Cuthbert Boulevard from 2:00 to 3:00pm.

While we are vehemently opposed to Maduro, we know Trump’s ILLEGAL invasion was not for the Venezuelan people, or in America’s best interest. It’s about oil and Trump’s greed and obsession for power.

Trump’s failure to gain congressional authorization was blatantly illegal. The lack of clear strategy risks entering into yet another long term conflict. And the bottom line is that this illegal operation will only further isolate the United States from its (former?) allies.

Tell Congress to step up, assert its authority, and prevent further illegal action!
