About 100 people braved the cold and icy conditions to participate in a MLK Day of Service event in the Fairview neighborhood of Camden. The event was hosted by the Camden County Commissioners and attend by Governor Elect Mikie Sherrill. Mikie gave a great speech about MLK’s first combined act of civil disobedience and legal action against racial discrimination that happened in Camden. The park cleanup was changed to shoveling walkways for neighbors.
