In the style of Norwegians silently protesting against fascism under Nazi rule during WWII, members of Stitches for Solidarity decided to display their talents as a form of peaceful protest during No Kings III. Several members sat and knitted or crocheted red protest hats at the CRI rally while others made hats at home beforehand that were sold at the rally as a fundraiser for the Mutual Aid Team. Those sales, along with donations taken in from Embracelets, go towards supporting immigrant families and others in need in our community. Thanks to all who contributed!
