Making Embracelets (9/11/25)

On September 11th 2025, the Stitches for Solidarity subgroup of the Immigration committee met up in the Camden County Library in Voorhees to make embracelets. These embracelets are designed to honor and remember people who have been impacted by the Trump administration’s efforts to kidnap, detain, and deport our neighbors. Each embracelet is made with love to display the name of a person affected by these efforts. The embracelets are then given away along with a paper telling the story of the person named on the bracelet. The person receiving the embracelet can then use the narrative on the paper to teach others about the plight of this person when they are asked about the bracelet on their wrists. Look for this subgroup at immigration meetings and the general meeting and ask about how you too can get one of the bracelets.
