We would also like to mention the ongoing need for fresh food, as well as periodic household items such as sheets and bedding. To meet these needs, we have been accepting cash donations for items that the Stitches for Solidarity group has created, such as Embracelets, red protest hats, Resistance Cards, and small pottery dishes. The cash generated from these items allows our team members to buy fresh food on the day of food bag deliveries, and purchase grocery store gift cards and the periodic household items that are needed.
