Camden County Democratic Candidate Forum for County Commissioner: Round 1

It’s not easy to learn about the candidates that run for local office! NJ Voters Want More Say and Cooper River Indivisible invite you to virtual Candidate Forums to meet the candidates running in the Democratic Primary Election for two County Commissioner positions.

Join us on April 22 at 7pm for round 1. We’ll host Vonetta Hawkins and Constance Mercedes of South Jersey Progressive Democrats

We’ll start with a brief overview of the responsibilities of the office of county commissioner, then we’ll meet the candidates to learn about their backgrounds, motivation to run for county commissioner, and Q&A for their perspectives on issues important to quality of life in Camden County.

We anticipate a date in the near future for round 2, when we’ll host incumbents Lou Capelli and Jonathan Young of Camden County Democratic Committee Inc.
