Jam Session with Brass Uprising

Please join the Brass Uprising band for our first outdoor community jam session. Our band was inspired by other protest bands across the country, many of which gather outside to play music and build community.

Whether you play an instrument (at any level!), sing, dance, or just enjoy music and community, you are welcome to connect with us in this relaxed and fun format. (For an example of the vibe, check out Brass Solidarity’s Monday night gatherings at George Floyd Square).

We’ll meet on the south (Collingswood) side of Cooper River Park (in the meadow down the hill from Hopkins House) and play some of our favorite protest songs and cover songs (music is posted at brassuprising.com/songs). Looking forward to seeing you there!
