URGENT! People’s Agenda Rally and Lobby Day
Haven’t been to a protest or rally in a few days? Want to come and hang out with some CRI friends and other activists from across the state? Join the ACLU and partners from across NJ on Monday, December 8, as we rally for the People’s Agenda in front of the State House and make our voices heard.
New Jerseyans are clear: they will fight back against authoritarianism and want elected officials who will do the same. Now is a critical moment for New Jersey to pass legislation that will expand and protect the rights of everyone in the state, as well as close corporate loopholes and tax super millionaires to fund essential programs and services that communities need. That’s why we’re urging lawmakers to pass the People’s Agenda and commit to prioritizing social justice during this year’s lame duck session.
If you are interested in carpooling, please meet us in the old JO Ann Fabrics parking lot at 9:30 a.m. The address is 2234 W Marlton Pike W rt. 70) Cherry Hill. This is the same shopping center with Staples, Shop Rite, and Boot Barn. We will organize ourselves into carpools from there.
An email will also be sent to attendees about carpooling. Hope to see you there!
