DESCRIPTION:As Americans\, it is our duty to ourselves and our country to push against tyranny. We honor our history by organizing for a Free America. An America free of fascism\, of government overreach and corruption\, of unlawful arrests\, of public executions\, of pointless wars\, of the protection of sex traffickers\, and of a dictator. \nAs part of the national call for a “walk out” event on Tuesday January 20th\, we will gather on the sidewalk outside the Whole Foods in Cherry Hill from noon to 2:00pm. We will start at the corner and spread out as needed. Please bring a sign\, a costume\, a prop\, or anything else you might have in mind to tell our fellow Americans that we demand a Free America. \nSome things to keep in mind: – This is a peaceful demonstration. We do not allow signs that encourage\, glorify\, or incite violence. – In order to ensure the safety of everyone present\, we ask that nobody cross or step into the street or shoulder during this demonstration\, and cross roads only at crosswalks (the Cherry Hill police have issues citations for this at past protests). Please also take care not to obstruct any local businesses. – While there will be many people honking their horns in support\, there will be unhappy campers\, hecklers\, and possibly even people looking to intimidate. Do not engage with them or their hostility. *Remember: the goal of a visibility event is to be seen and to have impact on people. Consider any heckling to be a positive result of the action\, and follow through with the most effective response – smile and wave. – There will be safety coordinators wearing reflective vests. Please cooperate with them\, as they are volunteers working to ensure the safety of everyone present.

DESCRIPTION:Come out to show support for our immigrant community. We will meet at the Lindenwold Borough Hall\, 15 N White Horse Pike\, at 4:00pm. This is a peaceful demonstration of solidarity. We urge attendees to avoid engaging with any counter-protesters. Signs are encouraged\, and we encourage positive messages of support for our immigrant community. \nImportant Update: Due to slow-melting snow\, and in an abundance of caution\, we will simplify tomorrow’s action in Lindenwold\, and meet at Borough Hall at 4:00pm (15 N White Horse Pike). We had planned to meet on E Gibbsboro Road and march to Borough Hall\, but the route is much too dangerous with the snow. \nThere are some benefits to this change! There is plenty of parking at Borough Hall and nearby on E Linden Avenue. Since the borough offices are closed tomorrow\, we have been told by the local police that we can utilize the parking lot\, which does provide a safe alternative for anyone worried about standing on the sidewalk along White Horse Pike. There are two accessible parking spaces in the lot\, and we will also try to reserve some additional spaces. **Please do not park in the lot if you are able to walk the short distance from Linden Ave. \nPlease take a few minutes to read the following protest guidelines. \nAs an organization\, Cooper River Indivisible always engages in peaceful protests. \nStay safe. Be respectful and kind to all. Stay on sidewalks\, use crosswalks\, and do not enter roadways. The local police support this event. If they are present\, it is for our safety. Do not block access to buildings or driveways. Respect everyone’s property. Look out for your fellow protestors. We are all safer when we take care of each other. Do not engage with counter protestors. Ignore them\, or walk away. Seek the assistance of a trained marshal if someone is harassing you. Respect organizers’ requests\, and check in with them if you have questions or concerns.

We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. \nOn March 28th\, rise up\, and join us as we come together as a community to express\, loudly: no thrones\, no crowns\, no kings. \n•We will gather at City Hall in Camden at 11:00 am to prepare to march. \n•At 11:30\, we will take to the streets and march through Camden in solidarity with our fellow South Jersey neighbors to send a message of unity\, peace\, and love. \n•Ending at Wiggins Waterfront Park for a massive rally\, we will be joined by several resistance speakers\, the CRI puppets\, dancing frogs and unicorns\, our Justice Choir\, local food vendors\, and many other community organizations and activist groups. \n•The rally will begin at approximately 12:30 pm and end at 4:00 pm. \nWe are still planning and will share more details as they become available!
