We would love to welcome as many folks as possible to come make some noise with us! \nThis is a nonviolent demonstration\, so please attend with safety and de-escalation in mind. We have a very short period of time to get the act passed during this lame duck session\, so it’s an all -hands-on-deck moment across the state. \nWe need volunteers to go to Trenton together and lobby for this bill. You do not need to have any lobbying experience — nor is an understanding of how the legislature works or the bill itself essential. We will learn together. I’ve only lobbied one time. \nThere are organizations that will serve as the lead each day\, and we will connect with them. Getting numbers of people is very important — even just to be a presence.
