Todos sabemos que la historia de la migración es antigua como la humanidad.

En 2025 ocurrieron casos, personas desesperadas, asustadas o sin esperanza de que esto cambie. Nosotros los inmigrantes estamos sufriendo de miedo. Madre preocupada por sus hijos o sus esposos.

Personas desesperadas porque no pueden volver a su país, por ejemplo los haitianos.

Las personas tienen miedo de ir al trabajo. Nosotros los inmigrantes abarcamos traumas por los videos, noticias o por las detenciones.

Es triste ver cómo nosotros los inmigrantes decidimos venir a buscar un mejor futuro y que nos estén echando así. De esa manera, es doloroso ver que alrededor de 140,000 han sido deportadas.

Nosotros los haitianos y algunos latinos no hemos llegado en avión, sino que por la selva del Darién… donde pasamos hambre, frío y ganas de retroceder atrás.

The History of Immigrants

We all know that the history of migration is as old as humanity.

In 2025 there were cases of desperate people, frightened or without hope that things will change. We immigrants are suffering from fear. Mothers worried about their children or their husbands.

People are desperate because they cannot return to their country, for example Haitians.

People are afraid to go to work. We immigrants carry trauma from videos, news, or from detentions.

It is sad to see how we immigrants decided to come in search of a better future and that we are being expelled like this. In that way, it is painful to see that around 140,000 have been deported.
We Haitians and some Latinos did not arrive by plane, but through the Darién jungle… where we experienced hunger, cold, and the desire to turn back.
