I have never protested before in my entire life, but [this week] I watched 4th and 5th grade students run away from our own Government. I never want to see that again and I am not going to stand by and watch my neighbors have to run away scared.
This is not Camden County, it’s not New Jersey, and it is not the United States. I love the United States, I love New Jersey, and I love Camden County. I love Lindenwold too. This is not what we are…this is no who we are.
So I decided that I was going to come out here and stand with you guys and be a part of this protest. I never want to see a child have to run away from our government ever again.
